Powering Black Businesses

The Powering Black Businesses campaign is the Greater Washington DC Black Chamber of Commerce’s mission-driven fundraising initiative to fuel economic growth, advocacy, and support for Black-owned businesses across the District. As a nonprofit organization committed to leveling the economic playing field, we’re calling on our community of allies, investors, and champions to help us reach our 2025 fundraising goal.

Your support enables us to:

  • Provide technical assistance, training, and mentorship to Black entrepreneurs
  • Host programs that drive access to capital, contracting opportunities, and global exposure
  • Deliver high-impact events, policy advocacy, and community open houses
  • Maintain a strong voice for equity in business at local, regional, and international levels

Whether you contribute $50 or $5,000, your investment is a direct contribution to the power, prosperity, and longevity of Black businesses in the region.

When Black businesses thrive, our entire community rises. Join us in Powering Black Businesses.

Let’s power progress. Let’s power equity. Let’s power Black business.
